Last week we announced the first ever Spreadshirt T-Summer Games, what can we say, we were excited by all of the competitions to watch this summer. I just wanted to remind everyone that the games have begun!

Eight is great. Today is the 8th day of the eight month of the year 2008. There is even a wikipedia page for August 8.

August 8 is also a day to sing Happy Birthday to :

• Dustin Hoffman ( I don’t know why he looks so serious in that picture).
• Larry Wilcox - he was on CHIPS.
• Kool Moe Dee

Thanks to the folks at Kirtsy (Kirtsy used to be called sk*rt and is a social book mark site that is kind of like digg) I learned that today, July 8, is Video Game Day.  No one seems to know where Video Games Day came from but Kirtsy is celebrating all week long (and giving away 4 Nintendo DS systems - all you have to do is leave a comment with your favorite video game - mine is Dr. Mario).  To celebrate Video Game Day - here are some great designs that honor the video game from the Spreadshirt marketplace.

We have just added categories to the Holidays & Occasions section of the marketplace for Weddings and for Birthdays. Both are great occasions for a custom gift and this should make it faster to find the perfect design for the perfect gift.

I was browsing some of the awesome designs in the Spreadshirt marketplace and came across these two formal designs - I think these make really cool St. Patrick’s Day attire. Both of these designs are from the user Tattoooo, he has some other great St. Patrick’s Day designs in the marketplace.

I choose to put this in neon green on the green hoodie - I think it is really funny to see a tie on a hoodie.

Black with gold is one of my favorite color combinations.

The blog post about this t-shirt is getting some Diggs. I have noticed that campaign t-shirts have been getting lots of traffic from StumbleUpon. If you have campaign shirts in your shop you might want to submit them to StumbleUpon, Digg or some of the other social sites out there. We have been checking out a new social shopping site - Kaboodle - I am just learning to use it but it has a nice Firefox extension.

This shop partner took an existing graphic and improved it with custom text. You can find thousands of graphics to use in your shop in the marketplace. When you find a design you want to use to create products in your shop - just click the link on the left side that says “add to my shop.”

Jesse, the genius behind all things design at Spreadshirt, has created some new designs just in time for Valentine’s Day. These designs are available in the Spreadshirt Marketplace. If you have a great design for your valentine please submit it to the marketplace. Just a reminder that you set the commission on your designs in the marketplace - you can earn extra money each time someone uses your design.

I think this design with the elephants looks great on the long sleeve thermal t-shirt. Since it is finally freezing cold outside (It was 72 degrees last Wednesday here in Pittsburgh, everyone needs some warm snuggly clothes to wear.

Jesse did a great job capturing the frustration, I mean fun, of holiday decoration with this t-shirt design.

Local T-shirts wanted! We are working on a local t-shirt directory! It is no secret that I heart my city (have you seen my blog) and I am getting quite a geography lesson on creating a directory of local t-shirts for the marketplace.

We want to see what city you heart and add your designs to the directory. Show off your hometown by submitting your local t-shirt designs to the marketplace.
