Thanks to the Hungry Girl newsletter (Hungry Girl has a great daily newsletter with tips on how to eat better) on Friday I learned that September 12 is National Chocolate Milk Shake Day (also listed on this page of bizarre food holidays). If you are in the Atlanta area you can even get a free chocolate milk shake at this place.

So in honor of this esteemed holiday I did a little search of the Spreadshirt Market place for the word milkshake and found this super great t-shirt design from Teebagks.  I love the cartons of milk shaking hands!

The bike friendly blog Urban Velo reminded me that today is Bob Marley’s birthday with their post “Two Wheels, One Love.” I thought this would be a good opportunity to see what Bob Marley inspired designs are in the Spreadshirt Marketplace and I found some other famous Bobs too.

If you live anywhere in the US aside from California and Florida then you know that it is cold outside. I was just on the phone with some of the marketing team members who are in Ohio and Boston and we were comparing snow fall amounts.  Check out this video of some people surfing in New Jersey last weekend - just watching them makes me cold.  All this cold just makes you want to curl up inside with a cup of hot chocolate (check out this recipe for homemade hot chocolate) and watch a movie (I have had CNN on all day listening to the coverage of the Blagojevich Hearings - almost as dramatic as a movie but not quite the same thing).

I thought I would take this opportunity to show off some of the warm and cozy items in the Spreadshirt marketplace.

I’m Complex Junior’s Distressed Hooded Sweatshirt - I think that the distressed hooded sweatshirt has to be our coziest item available. This product is very fitted - order a larger size - I am wearing an XXL one from the Craftster.org shop right now. The material is fit and the edges are frayed just enough so that it feels like this is an old favorite from the minute you put it on.

Moose Rider Track Jacket - I love this track jacket, it is like a more formal version of the hooded sweat shirt. I think the moose rider design is really fun too. You can check out more designs from Spit-Inc here.

Hedgehog in the Snow Baby Blanket - I think that the baby blanket is one of the most over looked items in our collection. This blanket is soft and cute and you have a big space to customize too.  This little hedgehog is too cute.  Check out some of the other great designs from eyecandy here.

It is well documented that the Pilgrims came to the new world for religious freedom, but few understand their ulterior motives to rock. Yes, it has been found that when the Pilgrims weren’t shooting turkeys or attaching buckles to any piece of clothing they could find, they were rocking out and chasing groupies. This t-shirt commemorates that spirit and hopes to give you the same success the Pilgrims did with the ladies, because after all, they did have a whole continent to populate.
