I posted about this back in August - during PodCamp Pittsburgh (which was attended by a few of us from Spreadshirt) a number of smart, geek loving people created the term Bacn. In short BACN = Email you want - But not right now.

The term BACN took off like hotcake (breakfast pun intended) and started popping up around the web every where.   According to the blog TechBurgh bacn has made the pages of the Feb 08 People magazine.  Congratulations to the bacn crew on this prestigious accomplishment.

I think this design with the elephants looks great on the long sleeve thermal t-shirt. Since it is finally freezing cold outside (It was 72 degrees last Wednesday here in Pittsburgh, everyone needs some warm snuggly clothes to wear.

What is GITD?  It is just the short hand we use for talking about Glow-in-the-dark flex here at Spreadshirt.   Justin Timberlake may be working on bringing sexy back.  I am working on bringing GITD back.  I have a hat with the Spreadshirt logo in GITD that is my favorite.

Halloween is a big holiday here at Spreadshirt.  We hope you will get creative with the GITD and add some more Halloween themed designs to the marketplace.

I am loving this design.  The kids are heading back to school and I feel like the summer has gone by way too fast.  I was just checking out the new designs in the Spreadshirt Marketplace and found these aviator sunglasses.  This design is awesome.  Jesse created this vector graphics to go with some of the 80’s themed designs we have been adding to the graphics collection.  How would you use these on a t-shirt?

T-critic has a post about all of the awesome t-shirts seen at the Lollapolooza concert this summer. I loved the round up of t-shirts from SXSW so I am thrilled to see this round up (of 189 t-shirts from Lollapolooza).

2 things that we think are great about these t-shirts…

1. Mostly text t-shirts. Here at Spreadshirt we spend a lot of time studying t-shirts - some of the best are the ones that come through prodcution are the ones with just text. Text shirts are easy to create because they don’t require any graphics. We have been adding more fonts to the designer - so there are even more text styles to choose from.

2. Get Local. Many of these t-shirts reference cities, states or regions. We have been seeing more and more local themed t-shirts in t-shirt land. Maybe you want to add some local shirts to your shop!

Hide Your Arms, a blog about shirts with sleeves, has a post about these Space Invader hoodies that are featured on The Cool Hunter.

I love this space invader design - we have one very similar here at Spreadshirt. I have ordered a shirt with this design in flock before but I am loving the neon. The cool hunter is selling these for $150. You can order your own custom space invader gear at Spreadshirt, we even have some awesome neon flex.

I wanted to share another design from the Spreadshirt Marketplace. I am usually not much for flowers on t-shirts but I love these hibiscus flowers.

I would not have thought to put this on ablack t-shirt but it really makes the colors stand out.  I love that the design is in flock, the texture on the black t-shirt looks awesome.

I was browsing through some of our amazing shop partner blogs today and found SAMA, a group of outdoor enthusiasts from the Great Lakes region.

They just added a blog post about how they have added the custom text field to the back of the SAMA sweatshirt in their Spreadshirt shop.

I think this is one of the coolest features Spreadshirt has to offer.  You can create the design and let you customers customize the text in the text field.

Custom text is especially great for organizations like SAMA and sports teams.  When everyone has the same gear, it is east to loose your sweatshirt in the pile of sweatshirts next to the field.  Now, it is easy to personalize your shirt.

Sure you can use your last name, I also like when people put their nicknames on the back of their shirts.
