It’s time to think spring…or at least wish for it’s early arrival. To kick start that spring feeling, here’s some fashion and color trends to look out for as the warmer months slowly approach. Glamour lists their most fashionable trends for the spring which includes; color blocking, the color tangerine, colorful camo and pepum skirts.
In regards to color, Pantone lists their annual spring color trends. Here is what you should be adding to your wardrobe; pastels such as pale yellows, pinks, mint and lilac and bolder tones such as tangerine, fuchsia and and violet. Mix in the neutrals of sand and shades of beige and your look will be complete.

Are you familiar with our Fashion Brands Collection? If you’re not, our Fashion Brands Collection is a grouping of higher-priced products. These products are well-known due to their brand name and/or special cuts and colors.

Over the past few years we have tried out a few different brands; FRISUR Clothing, IVEE, and Timbuk2 just to name a few. But now, since we are planning for 2012 we’d like to know your opinion on the overall collection, including what you would like to see added. I’ve prepared a short survey for you to answer. Fall is right around the corner! With the approach of a new season comes new fashions and new colors to add inspiration to your wardrobe. Fashion Trendsetter reports that designers are taking a painterly approach to Fall 2011 by artfully combining bright colors with staple neutrals. The fall color palette includes; golden mustard yellows and purple combined with beige and brown hues. Shades of blue and green such as deep teal and jade, ice and steel blue and rich coral and pinks. These colors tend to add a bit of romance to the fall air. In addition to color, Glamour.com reports that patterns such as plaid, polka dots and even camouflage will be popular. This plaid blazer by Betsey Johnson paired with some form fitting black slacks and custom t-shirts is the perfect example of this fall trend. Looking for some quick fashion tips to make your summer wardrobe stand out? Add some of these key pieces to your closet and you’ll be sure to stand out in the hot summer sun and look darn good doing so.

Bright Colors:
Bright colors are everywhere this season from bright colored jeans and shorts to colorful jewelry, dresses, and tank tops. The key colors include coral, turquoise, bright yellow (this one shoulder dress by Tibi is a perfect example) and pink and purple shades galore!

Bohemian/Western Chic:
If you’re a flower child or a cowgirl tis the season to bust out your fringe and long flowy skirts. The bohemian/western look is in, as seen on the Dolce & Gabbana runway this past spring. Michael Kor’s adds his twist with this suede fringe miniskirt daring to be paired with your most sexiest pumps. If you’re a little more love child think long flowy bright colored shirts such as this head turner by Alice + Olivia in every shade of the rainbow. For the more subdued this beautifully detailed silk tank is the perfect layering piece under your basic blazer for a day at the office.

Nautical Look:
As mentioned back in the Spring Checklist Post, stripes and all things nautical are all the rage this summer. Pair this Vivienne Westwood striped jersey top with your favorite pair of cutoffs and some platforms to create a cool and classy summer look.
