I was browsing around T-shirtMagazine.com (see past blog posts about T-shirt Magazine here) and I stumbled across this history of the t-shirt.
Here are 3 things I learned about the t-shirt from this article:
- there are many theories about what it is called a “t-shirt”
- t-shirts did not become a wardrobe staple until after WWI
- the first campaign t-shirt was created after WWII
