AdamsBalls.com will print your logo on pong balls. I ordered some and sent them to friends in college. T-shirtmodels.com (You can find models at a fair price) Textmarks.com (You can setup ads for mobile users to see your monthly coupons or specials) Word of mouth is one of the best ways. I give away free shirts all the time and use my commissions to do so. That way it doesn't cost me out of pocket. Offer free shirts to your Myspace friends and give some away locally. In fact, 80% of my traffic comes directly from Google... and being part of the product search is a big reason why. Do a search for "marquette warriors shirt" on Google and you'll see what I mean. I've been in the POD market for about 3 years now, but this spring I just launched a new store and collection of designs inspired by a cartoon series, the Squidbillies. I've done fairly minimal marketing - blogs, MySpace, other social networks that have groups for the show, plus just basic SEO and things. I've been doing amazing business with this niche. There are people out there who want what I'm making and I'm basically the only person/shop out there with all these designs available. If you make it (and it is unique), they will find it.
