Since we are talking earth day (have you checked out the Earth Day promotion yet?) - this gives me the perfect excuse to share some great green blogs. I would love to hear what green blogs you like - please share.
Siel is a blogger who writes both Green LA Girl and Emerald City. Green LA Girl is about Los Angeles and includes lots of green ideas, including a green guide to LA. Emerald City is her enviro blog at the LA Times.
Check out her post on Freecyling on Green LA Girl - which I think does a good job of describing what Freecycling is and discusses the importance of reuse. She even gives away cool green stuff twice a week - just leave a comment and you could win - check out the blog category freebies. I am so loving this Plastic Bag Rehab tote!
From Emerald City - there is a post about some green contests that is worth a look - check out the “Whats the Big Idea?” Contest from the Sundance channel - you could win $10,000 to turn your idea into reality. She also provides a link to a review of some organic beers that I enjoyed reading. I just recently tried the Peak Organic Pale Ale and I must say it is mighty wonderful beer.
