Today I ran into my friend Tony who is currently a fellow in the CORO Center for Civic Participation’s Public Affairs program (a year long leadership training program) here in Pittsburgh and other cities around the US.
Last fall the CORO fellows ordered some Spreadshirts to wear to promote the launch of a new website about non profit organizations - GreatNonprofits.org. Using some text and a simple star they created some great looking shirts for their launch event.
Today Tony’s friend was asking me where I worked and as soon as I said Spreadshirt - Tony jumped in to show off that he was wearing his Spreadshirt shirt from the fall. I asked if I could take a picture and how many times the shirt was washed - at least 6 times and the shirt is still looking great and has become a regular staple in Tony’s closet.
So here is a comparison - the shirt brand new and the shirt today. The white and yellow flex aren’t faded at all. The picture on the right is from my camera phone so it isn’t as crisp.

I am impressed. Not sure which one is washed which means they both look brand new to me. I did not know spreadshirt was known for high quality screen prints. I thought almost anything would look older after six washes. I will have to check spreadshirt out.
