UPDATE: This post has generated a bit of conversation here at Spreadshirt - we all think it is an interesting idea but we are a little concerned about this project because we don’t know much about who is organizing it or how it is being organized. I just wanted to follow up and make sure it is clear that we aren’t endorsing this project. I think it will be an interesting project to follow and I am interested to hear what other people think of this idea of crowd-sourcing a t-shirt company.
This is a really interesting idea. nvohk is a t-shirt company where the decisions will be made by all of the people that are members - membership costs $50 a year. Members receive %35 of the profits to buy merchandise with and a discount on products. 10% of the profits will go to eco-charities.
Here is a little graphic of how it works (click on the image to see a larger version on the nvohk site)

I have signed up, I wish I could see how many other people have signed up. Would you spend $50 to be a member? Do you think this project will work? I like that this project is focused on creating eco-friendly clothing too. I am looking forward to seeing what kinds of designs 20,000 people can create.
