GSE = greatest state ever, and this blog, Get Ready for Pennsylvania Day, is on a campaign to make Pennsylvania the greatest state. I found out about the Get Ready for PA Day blog via a post on the Philadelphia blog, Phillyist (the ist blogs also have a Spreadshirt shop).
It’s a new local blog! This one is in support of a grassroots campaign to create an annual holiday celebrating the greatest state ever, Pennsylvania! Pennsylvania Day would be on March 4th. There’s already a Spreadshirt shop. Very cool. Our only suggestion? Change the rather disgusting banner image at the top of the page. It’s not exactly getting us excited about Pennsylvania. (UPDATE: Well, we’ll be damned; they took our recommendation already!)
I like that Phillyist sees having a Spreadshirt shop and important part of being a legitimate blog. They have some really great, simple, but still great looking designs in their shop. This one is just text and the outline of PA. I love the red text on the heather jersey t-shirt - which also comes in 7 tasty colors.
