Can you do it? Yes you can! As I typed that sentence I feel like it is a line from a Bob the Builder episode I was forced to watch while babysitting once.
I was going back and double checking the comments for spam, and I found this great question from veggie who asked how we got so much text on this t-shirt.
that’s a cool shirt! but please tell me how you guys did it since, if you’re using the confomat system, you can only have 5 short lines of text on a shirt? did you do a special vector design for it?
Well this is a great question to ask because the text ting is a little tricky. I went right to the experts in Customer Service (our customer service team really are experts in everything Spreadshirt).
Here is what Temple has to say…
you can place one design and two text boxes on one side of the shirt. You would need to type in your first five text lines, then click off the text, then a second text box appears where you can add text. So you can do one design and 10 lines of text for just one side and you can do the same for the back,
TaDa! I love learning & sharing tips and tricks! I hope this helps. Feel free to ask more questions so I can find more answers.

Since we are in the environmental spirit around here at Spreadshirt (Don’t forget that we are donating $2 to the nature conservancy for every organic cotton t-shirt purchased). I thought I would do a little surfing around a find some environmentally friendly tips to share. I found the blog for the Climate Crisis Coalition that mentions this New York Times article about hanging your clothes on a clothes line to dry. There is even an organization that focuses on this Project Laundry List. The article is actually kind of interesting as it talks about how neighborhoods have banned clothes lines because they are unsightly.
I know some people that don’t like the way their shirts feel if they hang dry. So you ever hang your t-shirts to dry?
What is your favorite earth saving tip? Send it in (lpa at Spreadshirt.com) and we just may post it here on the blog.
I have been checking out this social network type website Squidoo recently. You can see Spreadshirt Squidoo webpage here. I am still learning about how Squidoo works, I think it lets you create mini web pages - Squidoo calls them lens, so you can find similar info. But I have already found lots of interesting information.
Check out this lens that I found about using MySpace to promote your shop. Kimberly wrote this page about promoting a CafePress shop but I think most of this info applies to any kind of online shop.
Do you have a MySpace account for your shop? Share the link here in the comments.
