If you are a regular Spreadshirt blog reader, you know I LOVE t-shirt contests. This one is quite interesting and relevant to recent news. Al Kamen, a writer for the Washington Post, is hosting a contest and giving away 10 Washington Post t-shirt. The challenge - guess the date that Bush will pardon Scooter Libby. To enter just mail a date (month, day and year) to: intheloop@washpost.com.

Know of any other cool t-shirt contests - please share? What is the best t-shirt contest you have ever seen?

Hm… the best t-shirt contest I’ve ever seen? Probably the People Like Us contest at Torso, which was for slogans for their site (Seibei recently had a contest for the same thing at Indie Threads). Yeah… I haven’t really seen many t-shirt contests. The Libby pardon date one is pretty good, but I’m not too keen on winning a Washington Post t-shirt.
But speaking of contests (and this is perfect timing), today we just put up the third of our own monthly t-shirt contest on our blog: http://blog.fantasticbonanza.com/2007/03/07/fantastic-bonanza-free-t-shirt-contest-3-the-reckoning/
Of course, if he doesn’t get pardoned, everybody wins!
(I’ll be honest, I haven’t studied the case enough to know if that’s true, but I liked the joke)
