This guy on the tv saying about all the standby lights in the house...got me thinking. I always look back into the lounge when switching off the lights, and sice his comments, I just see this Christmas tree of lights!! My god, the whole night they are on. The DVD, the video player, satellite box, cordless phone, wireless internet box, laptop, laser mouse, tv speakers, modem....my wife's computer...printer...and on and on! As an internet marketing person, seriously, the only thing I need to be on is just that...the laptop and internet. Now, think how mush would we save if EVERYBODY switched all their plugs off every night?? I heard of a better initiative.
