Vintage T-Shirts: The Book

Yesterday Jana was telling us about how she was meeting with someone who LOVED t-shirts. This got me thinking about t-shirt lovers and how I would like to do some searching for t-shirt collectors/lovers. I didn’t have to look too far.  I just came across this post in Digg, from  Lift News.  A t-shirt lover, Tanya, who describes her love of t-shirts

I would wear a t-shirt every day if left to my own devices. And, my husband Jim, he has a collection of over 100 tees that he’ll never part with. T-shirts come in so many different shapes and sizes, designs and styles that they are appropriate for anything these days… including (as always) working out! And, what better way to work out in public than with a ‘kick ass’ t-shirt.

The fitness references are fitting (sorry couldn’t resisit the pun) becauseTanya’s husband is Celebrity Fitness Guru, Jim Ryno.  Not only does she love t-shirts, she has” a passion obsession for staying fit and blogging.”

Tanya blogs about this book “Vintage T-shirts: More than 500 Authentic Tees from the ’70s and ’80s.“  I know there are books on what to do with a t-shirt, but now I know there are books about the t-shirt as a work of art.  So with this post I think we shall do some more reseach into t-shirt collectors.  If you know of any websites about t-shirt collectors, send them my way.
