The local Pittsburgh news anchors at television station WTAE have all entered the blogosphere. I was just reading Andrew Stockey’s salute to the WTAE coffee maker (it is more of a plea for a new one - to be honest, I really expected more from a coffee maker that powers the morning anchors) when the UPS man arrived with a big brown box, as we have mentioned before we like getting packages.
Josh rips open the big brown box.

Inside was a brand new coffee maker…
Josh exclaimed “I have never seen one of those!”
but wait theres more, and a Toastation!

The Pittsburgh office had place a request for a new coffee maker and toaster, (the old coffee maker was unusable due to mold). We had engaged in some heavy debate about the virtues of a toaster vs. a toaster oven. But leave it to Michael in procurement to find an amazing solution… The Toastation. toaster + toaster oven = toastation. Thank you Michael for solving all of our toasting dilemas! Josh is excited about toasting bagels in the toaster. I have been making plans to bake cookies in the new toaster oven. I wonder if WTAE has replaced their coffee maker yet.

Uh, isn’t it Andrew Stockey, not Sheldon Ingram? I’ve met Sheldon Ingram, and that’s not his picture at the top of the blog you linked to — or his name.
Just sayin’….
You are correct. I have updated the blog. I am in local TV anchor overload from all of the snow coverage. See my post about Yvonne Zanos and the wovel over at the Pittsburgh Metroblog - http://pittsburgh.metblogs.com/archives/2007/02/what_is_a_wovel.phtml
Sooo…how well does the toastation toast? Inquiring minds want to know!
Amie,
We have not yet had a chance to use it as an oven but the toaster works great! So far so good…
=)
This morning, my comment sounded funny. This afternoon, it sounds snarky.
No snark intended. I apologize! You can smack me upside the head with a mackerel if you want.
And why does the blog I only signed up for so I could get the Akismet code show up as my URL?
Intruiging…and I can’t remember how to spell intriging…intrigung…interesting!
One of those days… Could I ask for a cup of coffee and maybe a piece of toast? It might help.
