Peter has posted this brain teaser on the Spreadshirt UK blog. No one has answered yet. Lets see if the US blogs readers can solve this before the UK readers.
A Spreadshirt shop has sold a certain number of t-shirts this year. It has sold half its t-shirts and one more to the first buyer. It sold half the remainder and one more to the second buyer. It sold half the remainder and one more to a third buyer, and finally half the remainder and one more to a forth buyer.
How many shirts has this Spreadshirt shop sold this year?

I get an answer of 30 shirts: 16 to buyer 1, 8 to buyer 2, 4 to buyer 3 and 2 to buyer 4.
And, if I’m right, mark one down for Canada!
…if I’m wrong, count it against the US.
I think Rick is correct. I got the same answer. He got here first.
