Ron Sharon decided his life wasn’t looking too good …
in the last couple of months I lost my job and my girlfriend broke up with me. As if that wasn’t enough, I just discovered that she became an adult film actress… So I decided that I need an amazing challenge to bring my life back on course.
So he is selling everything he owns on ebay and selling t-shirts (no comment on his choice of t-shirt vendor) to make $1,000,000 in 30 days. He will give $50,000 to charity.
He is also having some raffle’s and will be offering some prizes along the way. As of today he has made $$267.47.
More info is available at ronsharon.com.
Interesting. Would you buy a shirt to help him make the money?
This story also caught my eye as I am fascinated with people selling their lives on email. A few years ago I read a small
article in People Magazine, I think it was People about this book “All My Life For Sale” in which John Freyer sells everything he owns on ebay and then goes to visit the people that bought his stuff. It took me years to actually find the book, but I found it at Half-Price Books (one of the most amazing stores ever).
Which is an awesome book about Freyer’s stuff and the people who bought it.
And to bring it back to the world of t-shirts…
On the AMLFS website, Freyer share the stories about what happened to his stuff. Here is a t-shirt he sold and the story about it.

Louisville, Kentucky
>>i apologize for not sending you an update on what i’ve done with your museum of television and radio t-shirt;
>>i’d originally intended to give it to a friend of mine that really liked the place, but we’ve since had a weird kind of falling-out, and so i kept it. since it’s rather large on me, i mostly just use it for sleeping. it’s not terribly exciting, but there you go.
>>if you want to visit louisville, do it! it’s a fun town. your shirt digs the place well enough, from what i can tell.
>>- allison
>>P.S. just one more thing. i was just looking around temporama.com and i realized that lindsey, who bought your bag of sugar, was one of the people i met in baltimore a few days ago. I had breakfast with lindsey on saturday morning, and we ate crabs on john’s porch on sunday night. small world… everything’s connected in one way or another, isn’t it?

His life is cake compared to others. So in short the answer would be no. I’m working off a $100,000k debt and working 5 jobs. He needs to wake up.
I may buy his shot glasses though
Can never have enough shot glasses these days.
I just wrote a post over on the Pittsburgh Metroblog about one guy who paid to buy Freyer’s sideburns. People buy strange stuff - http://pittsburgh.metblogs.com/archives/2007/02/where_are_john_freyers_sidebur_1.phtml
a few years back, i too, heard about that one individual
who was selling all of his worldly possessions on ebay for whatever reasoning.
I go grocery shopping at my local supermarket.. not on ebay…
But then again, everyone has their own preferences
If your world falls apart, you pick yourself up by the bootstraps
and you move on.
One can have all the money in the world, but they will never
be completely happy.
I’m not impressed…. I’m 25, have a masters degree, and am still unemployed. No one is going ot buy a shirt just to help me put food on the table…..
no offense. just because your ex gf is an adult film star doesnt mean you can beg.
It’s a nice thought to make a million selling shirts… I feel that if you have a good shirt it will sell it self.
