I just wanted to point out a post on Jana’s blog, Life on A Shirt, about customer service. The customer service team here at Spreadshirt is awesome. They are absolutely obsessed with making things work and fixing them when they don’t work. And I am not just writing this because I work here, as a customer I really appreciate the attention to making the entire shopping experience easy. I am consistently amazed at how much the customer service team does to make things right.
Quality Experience Reflects on You:
When I was looking for a platform to provide apparel and merchandise for my blog, IheartPGH.com, I was only looking for the best quality t-shirts. I didn’t think too much about the customer service end of the companies. I have come to learn that customer service is part of a quality experience. Your customers, in my case, blog readers, don’t always realize or care that the merchandise is not coming directly from you. The way your customers interact with your partner reflects on you and your brand. Whether it is t-shirts, merchandise or other services that you partner with, it is worth looking into the quality of the product and the quality of the service.
Quality Experience and Value:
Over the past few years I have worked on a number of political campaigns which required me to manage large contact databases of voters and donors. There are a number of database products out there, and many campaigns just build their own with Access. After using NGP Software’s Database, I was sold, because of the service. Yes, NGP was more expensive than some of the other databases, but the customer service at NGP was why I am willing to spend the extra money. The quality customer service was valuable to me for 2 reasons:
1. They helped me use all of the features of the NGP database, thus helping me to make data management more efficient.
2. NGP offers trainings and answers questions from any of the campaign staff and volunteers. Rather than spending my time demonstrating the database to the rest of the campaign team or explaining to an intern how to print mailing labels, they can just call NGP and the NGP customer service people, who have explained how to print labels to hundreds of people, can help to solve the problem.
