Who writes this thing?

The team here at Spreadshirt thinks it’s about time to make some introductions. So I get to start.  My name is Lindsay and I am in charge of the blog here at Spreadshirt USA. I think it’s pretty cool because I get to write about some pretty interesting things happening here at Spreadshirt, around the internet and around Pittsburgh.

I run a blog called I heart PGH (PGH is the unofficial abreviation for Pittsburgh, PA). IheartPGH.com is a big list of cool things around Pittsburgh. There are some silly rumors out there that Pittsburgh is not a great place to do anything and that is just wrong. So my friend Natalia and I set-up IheartPGH.com as a website for the people who live here to share all of the good stuff about this city. Long story short, we had a little online t-shirt shop that printed bad iron on t-shirts and mailed them out to people. I kept thinking…there has to be a better way to make and sell t-shirts through the internet.  Then one day, someone wrote a blog post for IheartPGH.com about Spreadshirt and I found out Spreadshirt is right here in Pittsburgh. So I sent them an email, we had some lunch and now I get to work on t-shirt stuff everyday.

So that is my story about Spreadshirt and blogs. I also do some work on political campaigns and I volunteer with some community groups in Pittsburgh. You can often find me and my laptop over at the Union Project, which is a super awesome community center/coffee shop with great ham sandwiches.
