I thought I would take a look over the shoulder of my colleagues on the German blog and this set of 15 designs caught my eye, just as they have caught yours. These are designs selected by our Design Service team, namely, those who manually approve every design that appears on the Marketplace for any ethical or legal concerns. They also keep their eyes open for designs they like and share them with us. The designs in this selection range from beautiful to monstrous, philosophical to silly, subtle to striking, random adjective to opposite random adjective – just the tip of the iceberg of the variety that is our Marketplace. Enjoy!

Whilst browsing through the Spreadshirt Marketplace i came across the following rather interesting design idea (by bambu). As a “closet” puzzle fan i really like the idea of wearing a baffling message on my shirt, knowing only a few geeky like minded people will understand the message. It is also a nice way of promoting your shop (or design), by allowing your customers to interact with your shirts. See if you can guess any of the following locations…

I really like this design. For me it fits two settings
a) Actually being a Tourist
This says it loud and proud. I’m a tourist, oh yeah, I have no idea where I am, steal my Lonely Planet and I’ll going into shock and drop dead from fear of going somewhere not given 20 words snarly review. I’m going to take photos of anything other people are taking photos of. I’d wear this shirt with touristy pride, a smug grin on my face the next time I’m taking photos of things other people are taking photos of.
b) Not being a Tourist, in a place full of Tourists
Last week I was in a sort of Touristy no mans land. I was acting as a Tour guide, in Cambridge for a first time city visitor, in a city I hardly know, getting annoyed by all the Tourists, of which I was technically one. The perfect scenario to wear this and make the equally paradoxical
“I hate you annoying Tourists”
“I’m an annoying Tourist” statement
From the good people of Amorphia Apparel. Also available in the marketplace.
We’ll be showing more of the great marketplace submission we’re getting now. Browsing through there are some top designs by some familiar faces. I’m digging the ultra cute Little Lamb from 2smartmonkeys. Thanks to “blog this” function, here its is in all its glory

On a shirt how about contrasting the cuteness of little fella, with a pro meat statement:

Thanks to everyone thats been submitting to the marketplace. We now have over 1000 designs. Some are proving really popular, here is a little overview of some of the top sellers so far (some partners have had over 150 sales so far!)
Here is another post addressing the Marketplace. Its a follow up from the aptly title Marketplace pt.1. I’ll try and answer some of the questions that have been popping up here, in the forums and directly to service@spreadshirt.net
Including:
Im new here, whats the marketplace again?
Commission. Thats bitching, tell me more.
Whats the difference between a product and design?
If I submit a design where can it go?
I found a great design and I want to totally ruin it by adding a tacky pun. What customisation options do I have?
Heres a post introducing one new area of the future site, the Spreadshirt Marketplace. The idea behind this service is that all our customer demographics have a different reasons for using the site, and that we want to help you all connect more.
How does the marketplace help? Find out in the full post…
