The complete selection of Amorphia Apparel’s designs is finally available for us t-shirt wearing Europeans. So what’s the big deal, you ask? Faster and cheaper shipping for fantastic shirts! Amorphia designer Jeremy Kalgreen has been making waves in the North American market for quite a while, continually expanding upon his at times ironic, enigmatic or witty approach to design. From its conception, the Amorphia family has now grown to four separate lines, each with their own niche-like target. There’s a little something out there for animal aficionados, (dis)believers in intelligent design, science buffs and pretty much anyone with a good sense of humour. Find the links to the shop with photos and design examples after the click.
Science
Best described in Jeremy’s own words: “off kilter science t-shirts with a faux sarcastic nerd loving absurdist bent”. You’ve got to love scientists hugging heart-spewing nuclear plants and wrangling wild germs.
Teach The Controversy
Amorphia’s take on intellectual design, “The Truth”, creationism, UFOs and disproven ancient theories.
Sir Critter
Monocles, canes, top hats and gloves: Jeremy thought it was about time that nature spruced up its image and got with the programme.
Amorphia
A mix of humour in words and images with themes from robots, to Nietzsche to a drum playing t-rex.
And if you haven’t already figured it out, I’m also an Amorphia fan. Follow the links to the designers and put together your own customised colourful, snazzy and witty Amorphia Apparel. You’ll be sure to have someone asking you why there is a teapot in orbit on your shirt.
