Spreadshirt is moving! #02

02 What is currently happening on the construction site?
Yesterday I had a look at our new premises at Naumburger Straße again. It didn’t look too bad: a lot of construction workers, equipment and machinery, a lot of noise and quite some debris. That’s exactly the way it should be. The structural works are not completed yet. At the moment, they are working on the additional office space for the first floor. That is there are props and supporting stands everywhere in the hall.

All in all, the constructors are behind their original plan but they still want to meet the deadlines for our move-in months April (production) and June (HQ). In other words: In only two months time there will be t-shirts produced underneath the new hall roof. Crazy.
By the way, I didn’t visit the site alone: Eike and a reporter from the Leipziger Volkszeitung came along. This is the article in today’s LVZ.

For those of you who can speak a little bit of German, the LVZ is Leipzigs local paper…

And before I forget: Does anybody have a nice idea how to call our new home from now on? I figured that „Spreadshirt Headquarters and Production Ecke Naumburger-/Gießerstraße“ doesn’t sound too exiting…?
