Anti Holidays Competition

Christmas is around the corner and thus begins the great divide: between the Stooges - the enthusiasts who love everything about Holiday cheer, and the Scrooges - the ones who might like the core idea of Christmas, but can’t stand the six weeks of hype and hysteria leading up to it.

We’re all about equal representation here at Spreadshirt, so now we’re on a quest to find the quintessential anti-Christmas shirt design. Therefore I hereby launch as part of our equal rights, anti-Christmas campaign, a design competition for “Shirt that Stole Christmas”!!

We’ve already got some cheery, festive designs in the Marketplace, but right now there aren’t enough anti-Christmas ones to balance out the sweetness of the mighty candy cane. Hence, our quest.

The competition rundown:

We’re looking for the best ideas for an anti-Holidays t-shirt. Any anti-Christmas/Holidays ideas are acceptable (as long as they are not offensive), but the funnier and more original, the better. It doesn’t have to be a graphic - slogans are welcome too.

  • Submit your designs to the Spreadshirt Marketplace under the tag “Anti-Christmas” and send the link to the design along with your details to sjp@spreadshirt.co.uk
  • Once we start receiving designs provide a link to view them
  • Deadline for submissions is next Friday, 7th December at 5pm (GMT).
  • The winner will be hailed on Monday, December 1oth as The Mighty Grinch Designer that Stole Christmas, and will receive a £250 shopping spree courtesy of Spreadshirt as well as a free shirt with their design
  • Two runners up will receive a free shirt with their design!

Let the misery begin!

    The problems we have are acknowledged. See the latest post about compensation from the issues of the last release. This initiative uses absolutely no IT resource, and those guys are working flat out.

    This one is just supposed to be fun. Bare in mind that these designs will receive publicity, and therefore increased sales potential. You own all the rights, your just putting the design in the marketplace. There is no “exchange” as such. So if the design is not useful for your shop or anything else, and you don’t want more Spreadshirt apparel its probably not worth your time.
