Spreadshirt Stories

A self-made shirt is usually dying to tell its own story: Who am I? Why was I born? What does being laundered really feel like? To preserve this for posterity, we would like to hear *your personal shirt story*! Send it to us at: BLOGME at spreadshirt.net and we will publish your story! To kick off, we have a story from Tobias, from Marburg Germany.

“February 2005. I am holidaying in the States, while my girl-friend stays at home in Leipzig, Germany. Good start, eh? But wait – it’s her birthday and I need to send her something. How about flowers through Fleurop? Feels a bit drab… although women still seem to love it. What else can you funnel out of the web? Cds, books, clothes. A little impersonal for the occasion if you ask me. See what google has. Self-made t-shirts? Like at the copy shop? Doesn’t sound like..but wait, it’s really easy. Upload your own pix. Photoshop them first if you want. Pictures of the two of us I have a-plenty. So here we go! Romance rules! I have the shirt sent over to her address in Germany, along with some flowers to be on the safe side. But guess what..the shirt carried the day! Dare I say, my best present ever. Thanks to Spreadshirt. Oh wait, Spreadshirt is right where my girl-friend lives, in Leipzig. So I applied for a job and the second time I tried they took me! What can I say? Thanks for being born at just the right time honey ;-)
