The postman always rings twice

Most of the letters we receive at the Spreadshirt HQ arrive - of course - at the Service Dept. They get kudos, complaints, wrong deliveries and all the other stuff that regularly happens when people interact with people.

something different

Sometimes they get something different. A few days ago an envelope arrived at the HQ that got us wondering…

“To: The Spreadshirt Team,
Private and Confidential”

Nobody wanted to take responsibility. But that’s OK, because we have a procedure for this sort of thing…. Whenever something strange happens, you ask someone from the IT to fix it.

So that’s exactly what we did, and in the end it was Guido who was landed with the task of opening the suspicious mail.

Fortunately he was smiling when he came back to the Service Dept. (naturally he had to leave the room). There was a card inside with the following words: (translated from German)

“Dear Spreadshirt Team,
I ordered the Best of Moto GP CD at pitwalk-info. The costs are 8,90 Euro plus 2,90 Euro for the shipping. I have chosen payment in advance so I enclosed the amount in cash. I hope this is okay!

Best…

PS: Keep the change!”

Accurately attached:

a 10 Euro note
a 2 Euro coin.
and a 20 Cent coin… (for nothing. For the next party. A good day. For him and for us.)
:-)

Dear oh me. These customers that like to buck the system. I don’t know. They’ll want to collect the goods next as well. You’ll end up having to open one of those things called a shop! Heaven help us all. :-)
