Earth Day Shirts - Show yer Stripes

Earth Day is today. The sun is shining and it is very warm here in Leipzig, which means I’m trying to balance the thoughts: “yay warm weather” “nay global warming”.

While I’m thinking: at least we can enjoy the guilt-free, organic, free-trade, American Apparel. Made your own? Comment them here.

You say the organic American Apparel t-shirts are “free-trade”.

Is that right? It doesn’t state that in the product description.

Based in the Netherlands they are an iniative of Fair Trade and Oxfam among others and basically fair wear is fair trade from what I can see.

Right - I was wrong - American Apparel is proudly sweatshop free and fair trade. Not sweatshop fair and free trade. You can read their mission statement here:
