Celebrity Big Brother mayhem!

Unless you’ve been sleeping in a fallout bunker six miles under the earth’s surface, it will be impossible to have not noticed the mayhem that’s currently surrounding Celebrity Big Brother. The current season of CBB has become such a phenomenon, it’s even become political - being commented on by Gordon Brown and Tony Blair - who of course promise us they’ve never seen the show (lying politicians!).

If general madness and petty conflict is what you are looking for from a tv show (and believe us, it is!), Celebrity Big Brother is certainly rich in that. We’ve all been glued to the screen as Jade not-so-Goody-two-shoes has managed, quite unwittingly (not that there’s wit to, em, unwit?) to make herself a pantomime villain of epic proportions and in effect probably ruin her entire career. Then there’s her arch-rival, Bollywood star Shilpa Shetty, who has become the nation’s, nay, the world’s favourite to win the whole show, having fallen victim to Jade’s temper (over Oxo chicken stock cubes…).

We haven’t even mentioned the other housemates, and the constant steady flow of vacuous chit chat (ah, the pure entertainment of it all!). What’s a viewer to do when faced with genuine questions like “Can he read?”(Danielle) or “What’s an enviro?”(Jack)?

The answer: Relish the moment. This stuff you can’t make up. Wear it on a t shirt. Spread the joy.
