Topical Shop: Bouncing for Boobs

Spurred by her sister Kathleen’s bout with breast cancer, Priscilla Bokhara took a challenge to raise cash for support. Starting out as a promise to bounce 10 kilomters for 100 days to raise $10,000, it has turned into a world-wide awareness project. With the blog “Bouncing for Boobs” (http://bouncingforboobs.blogspot.com/), Bokhara keeps readers updated on her sister’s health, her own whereabouts (currently: India) and developments in fund-raising for her sister, and raising awareness for the cause in general.

Tshirt Redux

Need more news and updates about the t-shirt world in general? http://www.t-shirtforums.com/ is the meeting space for shop partners internationally and on any platforms. Taking on marketing, e-commerce, graphics and platforms down to blank t-shirt providers. With a huge amount of information and tips from the genearal to the very specific (e.g. how to vectorise a graphic in Corel Draw). With controls to keep the industry from heavily posting (I just watch from the sidelines), its a really valuable resource.

Merry Monday

Tony Blair defends the United States, but says “[s]ometimes they can be difficult friends to have”. But all in all, the world needs more US, not less. Honestly, that there is such sentiment comes as a complete surprise to us. As we have been telling people:

Only the real ones wear the t-shirts the week after

We’re still a bit shaky from all that green beer tea of last week. But what we can put together is that only the brave wear Irish t-shirts the week after St. Patrick’s Day. Nonetheless, this shop troops on: The lovely ETims

Question of the day: has wearing a “Kiss me I’m Irish” shirt ever helped? Or hurt? Did it matter if you were/weren’t Irish?

new Spreadshirt logo

After long debate and discussion, the new Spreadlogo is in:

Whoah. It’s certainly going to be a radical change from the lady…But the thumb-print/s-shape is pretty impressive.

Wordpress + Spreadshops

There’s a discussion on integrating spreadshops to wordpress blogs: here.
And there are also special plugins here.

By-the-by: I know enough html to (usually) make texts bold. My IT knowledge? Pretty limited. So if you have questions, please ask the original authors.
